Join me as we journey along the Trade Winds, a dynamic quilt made with useful techniques and a bit of decorative Organic Applique. 

The medallion is a Feathered Star Block which is a rite of passage block that is satisfying to make with the template and a few tips. 

Decorate the inner borders as you see them or design your own lines! 

We will work with a wedge ruler and circle techniques to make the Corners before moving to half stars and quarter squares. 

This is a great quilt to use your stash as we will discuss fabric choices for interesting results.
