US Tariff

All shipments to the US will have a tariff/duty of 10% of the ex GST price, plus a clearance fee for US Customs and Border Patrol, (comprised of 10% of the tariff and a per item fee), added to the invoice before charging and shipping your order.

All items listed include 10% GST. The GST is removed from international orders when you make your order and the system recognises it is an export sale.

ie: An item displayed as $110, will be $100 without GST (local sales tax), tariff $10, clearance fee $3.50.

Tariffs, customs duties, taxes and clearance fees for international orders are the responsibility of the purchaser. 

Payment

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars. We only accept Mastercard and Visa Credit Cards and Debit cards.

Sales Tax

All items listed include 10% GST. We remove the GST from all international orders before charges are processed.

Kits

All kits are made with fabric substitutions, we make suitable, consistent and sometimes even better substitutions that recreate the same look in the quilt. No refund is offered on pre cut kits.

Workshops

All bookings are non refundable, you may transfer your place to someone else if life intervenes and you cannot make it on the day.

Blocks of the month

When you purchase one of our Block of the Month programs, it is understood that you are obligated to the entire program.

Shipping & Handling costs vary throughout the program. We calculate the best shipping option in line with our normal shipping procedures. We provide the most cost effective shipping method depending on the weight and dimensions of your parcel.

Refunds & Returns
Notification of faulty/damaged goods must be provided within 3 days of receipt of goods, giving full particulars. No refund is offered on goods received in good order. No refund is offered on pre cut kits. Shipping fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

All packaging must be returned. We cannot accept the return of patterns or books due to copyright law.

Postage & Handling
Postage & handling costs will be added to your order after your order is placed. It is not shown at the checkout, and is added after the final package weight is determined. We are not responsible for damaged or lost orders, unless tracking and/or insurance is requested at the time of ordering.

Shipping
Material Obsession aims to dispatch orders within 48 hours.

Most orders will be delivered in as little as 2-5 business days from the time your order is dispatched, depending on where you are located.

Credit cards will not be charged until your order is ready to be sent.
We use Australia Post for deliveries within Australia and all international deliveries.

Please allow up to 16 business days, as a guide, for all international deliveries.

Australian and International Deliveries - we ony charge you exactly by the finished weight.
