SWATCH BOOK -18 piece collection

Kathy's family moved a lot when she was young. Each new spaceinvited a gathering of swatches for wallpaper, Furniture upholstery and carpets that her mum would use to create a home. Pattern, colour, scale and texture played a part working back and forth from each option creating interesting connections. Kathy pictured that time wehn creating Swatch Book, gathering elements that create interest from decorating books and magazines. Each Design Intentionally calls out to the others in detail links, creating a combination that looks created rather than the matched. Her favourite quilts are often scrappy, and it is her dream that this collection takes all of us to that place of random perfection, where happy coincidence makes us curious and interesting in knowing more.
