Soul Searching is one of my most important quilts so we decided to update the layout as a sampler.  Working with strips of fabric enables exploring each colour group for a better understanding of how to create interest in our quilts and to expand familiarity with colour. 

The nine blocks explore a variety of techniques while using light, medium and dark values as well as different scale prints and warm/cool versions of each colour. 

Acrylic templates and mylar applique shapes included where needed for accuracy.
